Interesting statement by Danny Glover, people really don't want to talk about real issues when it is not affecting them. For Instance, Tavis Smiley show has no point in a way to me, because I think there should be some kind of advice given to these people than anything how can have people that are contributing to our problem glorified such people like Ne-yo making songs that are about things young people should not be doing. We need someone that will help our people instead of patronize them

i don't know. honestly i don't take everything the gov't says and it's fact. i understand your point. But i don't necessarily look at them as enemies. If Castro was such this bad guy the gov't says he is then why don't they dethrone him like Saddam? It's no real interest in Cuba, Just like Somalia. They say its terrorist there all the time but there is no interest in taking control there

A very succinct statement by Danny Glover, one of the most politically progressive actors in Hollywood. The part about the terrible conditions in New Orleans (suddenly discovered by the media afte Katrina) being common in inner-city areas across the country is particularly important.
