verac's armour has a CHANCE of hitting through prayer. He hits the same when the set effect happens.

Just like guthan's healing effect

it decreeses the max hit....he can hit 32 if you have no prayer on...but with meele prayer on he can max hit you for 16

i would rather say he should use staff of the anchient....then you can autocast anchient spells :D
