  • Great!

  • is it just me or are their snatches of the hungarian rhapsody flitting in and out of this? The chord progression of the main theme is very similar, I think

  • @demosj The opening is not mild at all, but on the contrary,so full of character, rubato, sense of shape, and beautiful colors. With all the respect for those great masters you quote, evidently you only mean LOUDNESS by "intensity." You should also take into account that this is an amateurish video which doesn't bring out the full sound potential of the piano and pianist.

  • Where is the intensity? The opening is just so mild, compare it to the Spanish Rhapsodies of Gilels, Cziffra, Yundi Li, or Arrau.

  • Anyone have good fingerings for the passages in 6:11 to 6:28 for the right hand? Preferably one that requires the least amount of movement. Thanks!!

  • yes, this piece is actually part of a 19 part hungarian rhapsody collection by liszt. :D

  • THAT piano is. The Yamaha Concert Grands are hand made. Look it up.

  • Yes bad english sorry... what i mean is that yamaha is not hand made.

  • Steinways are technically mass produced as well... .

  • The yamaha tone is too... I can't really describe it... Lets just say you can tell it's a mass produced piano...

  • Yeah, i agree Martha Argerich is playing much worse, by far not as musical!

  • I wish more pianists tryed the Yamaha, it's tone is really incredible.
