On May 7th, 1915, the Cunard Liner Lusitania was steaming past the old Head of Kinsale on the Irish coast. In a heinous act, the Imperial German U-Boat, U-20, fired a torpedo at the Lusitania. Two explosions shook the vessel and she would succumb to her wounds. Within eighteen minutes, the mighty RMS Lusitania would slide beneath the waves, taking 1198 to their deaths.

  • Where did you get this music? My dad wants me to use this specific one for my grandfather's funeral, and we're not going to be anywhere that I can just pick this up on WiFi.

  • @ssmxwll This distinct version was actually off the Titanic soundtrack (cd: Back To Titanic, 'Nearer My God To Thee - I. Salonisti (I believe, I'm not entirely sure right now, and I do not have the cd in front of me).
