Gabrielle LaVerde is a delightful and adored 7-year-old little girl who has been diagnosed with a fatal and rare disease, called Niemann-Pick Type C. The disease is considered an orphan disease since there have only been 500 known cases worldwide. The disease itself renders its victims with Alzheimers-like symptoms—victims move backward in time and forget how to perform basic functions, such as talking, walking, eating, chewing, swallowing, and breathing.
What does this mean? It means that Gabrielle, and other children like her, who suffer from this disease regress. The baby that learned how to talk, the toddler that learned how to walk, and the young child that learned how to play, forgets how to do all of these things, as they travel backward in time to their infancy, and lose their memories.

Sixty Central Florida singers united and lent their talents to record a song to save the life of seven year old Gabrielle LaVerde. Gabrielle suffers with a rare fatal disease called Niemann-Pick Type C (Early Childhood Alzheimer's). Life expectancy after diagnosis is 6-10 years.
Rappers, Gospel singers, Country artists, Folks singers and more including the Sammy Davis impersonator from The Central Florida Rat Pack all gathered at Deltona Arts Recording Studios to record Save Gabi. Save Gabi is the title cut of a soon to be released CD featuring 14 other songs donated by various Central Florida artists to raise funds for Gabrielle's medical treatments.
Gabrielle has undergone one treatment with promising results at a cost of appropriately $30,000. Another treatment will be needed in a few months. Numerous fund raisers are scheduled to raise $30,000 for Gabi's next treatment.
Coordinator, songwriter & lead vocalist of the Save Gabi project, Lloyd Marcus is requesting a donation of $850 to cover the expense of printing 1000 CDs. Sold at $10 each, the Save Gabi CD will generate $10,000 towards Gabi's next treatment.

Has she been cured yet? Please say yes and if not then I will pray as much as I can in hopes that God will take her disease away
