My dads Reaction to this; FYM 79.95$ ?

In 1993 79.95 was the going price for a VHS. There were very few tapes priced to own, everyone and their mother was making videos crap was everywhere. The sad thing is I remember this at my familys video store so Sinbad probaly made money off of this if you take into account the bazilion stores in the early ninetys

Funny thing is, it's probably on youtube somewhere with 100 dislikes and 2 likes.

$79.95 what the fuck?

This is an ad for the rental tape. Even still, it's expensive as hell. I remember during the mid 90's, you could rent VHS tapes for less than 10 dollars. So your average rental place who bought this would need at least 10 rentals to make this 80 dollar purchase viable. I don't think there is 10 Sinbad fans in the whole world.

This is of course a rental tape for video rental stores. Sinbad himself is only worth $17.29. Also, when I type Sinbad into my smartphone the suggestion is "Dumbass".

Back in my day you could buy a coke for a dime! And one Sinbad VHS for 80 bucks?
