Download David Keith Jones aus Alben auf iTunes oder Amazon MP3. ... David singt ein sehr geliebtes Lied des Robert Schumanns aus DichterLiebe. "I do not complain about love lost for ever - and if my heart should break I shall see how miserable you yourself are, and the snake that eats at your heart". David recorded the DichterLiebe (Poet's Love) cycle to his own backing developed to imitate a nineteenth century piano.

  • One can hear why your iTunes version is so highly rated: this is superb singing, David, along with all the other songs on your DichterLiebe album. Hope all goes well with you.

  • @aireschel1787 Annwyl Sarah - diolch yn fawr am dy sylw hael. How kind of you - thank you so much. You know how I value your support. In fact the album for some reason has temporarily disappeared from iTunes (July 2011) but they are trying to recover it. The Amazon version is unaffected. I'm pleased with the download quality from my modest little recording studio. The artistry is for others to judge. Diolch yn fawr iawn eto - dy ffrind cymreig - Dafydd o Fargoed,

  • @aireschel1787 Edwin- thank you so much - approval from a musician of your standing is welcome indeed. DichterLiebe is holding its own against stiff (RIP Fritz Wunderlich) opposition - excuse the indelicate pun. My family is well including our delightful granddaughters as I hope are you & your family.

  • The latest version of 'Ich Grolle Nicht' by David Keith Jones on iTunes has better accompaniment and is currently rated 11/146 for all recordings of this title.

  • Thank you so much for your generous and perceptive comment which I note carefully, the more so because of your musical credentials. Your channel looks interesting and I will look more closely.

  • @orionedwin Edwin, David sent the reply to me instead of you. This new YouTube set up is very difficult to find correct place for replying.

  • What a lovely emotional reading of this . . . Just lovely and perfect!

  • I rather like your interp. Vibrato is a bit wide however. accompanist could be a bit more supportive to your music line, but not withstanding, your intomation is good, Germanic Diction is spot on!! The pathos desparation, anger and betrayal you portray in your voice beautifully, including taking the High G at 1:29. Bravo! 5***** to you!! :-)
