L O L ! Is this real, no its a fake Aikido Instructor. I too have studied Aikido, kenpo and Capoiera , but originally studied Ai-ki-do as my introduction. I have never ,ever , ever seen any Aikido like this before and I was in the dojo for 3 yrs. My key to noticing if practioners are real or fake is by watching their feet and stances very closely. If I dont recognize the cat, or (T), their style is suspect, even if they say its Jujitsu, I know how to read movement threw Hakama. FUNNY
And bare in mind that Ai-ki-do is defensive, & I think its safe to say most of the systems that exists in Budo are. So why the hell is this guy swinging an open hand slap. I'm not saying he hasn't studied Ai-ki-do, but I was never told to swing @ my Uke, let alone try to attack my attacker. And If he did study any Budo, he should have been learned about the Samurai and how to absorb pain, rather than check his lip after the punch. Doesn't he know injury is a sign of weakness, shame shame.
