Underrated???

I've always enjoyed Deen AND Virgil. Nothing wrong with learning from them both. BTW, Simon produced Virg/:Pl X Moonbabies, and has nothing but praise for Virgil. Virgil is not about speed, he's about cutting edge creative concepts. I saw Virgil at a clinic in 96, he was warming up with about 6 or 7 different flam routines with just his feet.-flawless and burning.

@Easleyte Donati is all speed and no soul. Most people can't stand him. Watch Simon Phillips and then come back here. Deen is great but this is hilariously outdated. No one would be so goofy in an instructional video today. I met him during this period, I believe in clinic w/ Tommy Aldridge. Aldridge was booed for twirling his sticks and doing his usual Pat Travers solo. People found Deen very charismatic innovative. He was a very heavy duty Christian at the time but hat didn't seem to matter
