I thought Camden New Jersey was the worst.
And last time I checked Detroit was not only crumbling into ruins, there were entire abandoned neighborhoods with abandoned apartment complexes abandoned office buildings and street after street of abandoned houses literally crumbling due to erosion.
You blame victims but give no responsibility to the system of top down private ownership that was designed for the sole purpose of moving money to the top.
"No one invents stuff for free"
You're an idiot.

You named the worst city in the U.S., and the last time I checked Detroit wasn't "crumbling into ruins". UNIONS hurt the city of Detroit, a bunch of uneducated employees demanded more money than they deserved and the factories there couldn't make a profit, so they lost their jobs! The "technocracy movement" was created through the price system. No one invents stuff for free, you have to give them an incentive, FOOD is not one! People won't sit around and invent stuff while machines do eveything

"No machine can create"
Machines can do most of the labor people do today freeing people up to create because their lives wouldn't need to be crushed with drudgery behind a checkout counter or spent packaging products.
"stats"
What stats? Oh wait, I guess you never heard of outsourcing before.
"Where"
Detroit to name one, would you like to hear more?
The technocracy movement has advocated the abolition of the price system and a transition to a resource based economy for 70 years.

IT TAKES A HUMAN BRAIN TO CREATE THINGS! No machine can create something humans desire, because humans created that machine! Where do you get your stats from! Where in the U.S. are cities crumbling into ruins? The U.S. gets into one economic cycle that's down, and all of a sudden crazy people want to shut down the pricing system, and get ride of money! That's scary! I truly hope your not a legal voter in the U.S! People like you are the reason Obama gets reelected, he plays into your fear!!!!!!

Money isn't the only reason people create things, and most of the things people create can already be mechanized the only reason they're not is because it's cheaper for corporations to pay slaves in Shanghai twenty cents an hour than it is to pay for the electricity and machinery.
"advance themselves"
The system is set up to advance the owners and investors.
I think your system is a failure cities are crumbling into ruins because of it and we should employ technology and science to solve it.

Yes! people do create things for money, maybe not artists, but inventors of something that advances human kind, absolutely. HAHA, you think business men have been creating the things around us? No, its been people trying to advance themselves creating something new, better and different, and civilization gets to benefit from this creation. You think technology was a hobby? If you take that opportunity away to advance your position in life you take away the drive to better the nation as a whole.

You're wrong. People don't just create things for money, in a resource based economy machines could do most of the tedious labor and human creativity would be unleashed. "Entrepreneurs" would be replaced with artists inventors and engineers, instead of glorified business men.
"government farmers"
You mean mechanized farms with few farmers on them producing an abundance of food for everyone so that people can be freed to for other things?
"Spain"
ANARCHIST Spain proved everything you said wrong.

NO NO NO! To simple! You have taken away the drive that people have to be successful in life, create stuff, be entrepreneurs make a nation strong and prosperous. You would turn them into government farmers and workers who's only incentive is food. Spain fell and started over cause they were a weak country, too centralized and focused on one goal. When a nation should let its people focus on their individual goals, and the nation will benefit in the overall. Its whats been keeping the U.S. on top

That's funny, money seems to be what people kill eachother over as they're starving for food because they're too poor to eat.
In a resource based economy you wouldn't need money to eat, you'd only need food, which can be produced in an abundance with modern agricultural methods for everyone to eat.
"incentive"
According to you anarchist spain should have shut down and stopped working, yet it took two armies killing them and forcing them to adopt new ways before they stopped.

The world without a pricing system is the most ludicrous idea I have ever heard! Money is what keeps people from having to kill each other just to get something to eat. Your world without money completely takes away any incentive to do anything except survive. Money is what drives people to go to work, be productive and buy that new car or house they want. Taking a away the money system pulls us back into the stone age. There is a reason every nation in the world has a pricing system.
