how would i utilize these algorithms if the middle small piece is on the right side, unlike yours? cause i have a three cycle on the opposite side

I have all the top layer solved (white), all the red side solved, and all of the middle solved. But on the bottom layer, the Blue/Orange corner and the Yellow/Orange layer need switched. Also the Blue/Green edge piece and the Yellow/Green edge piece need switched. Can you help?

@bumbles098 Sounds like you're on step 4? I can't really help you much more than to tell you to watch from 5:02 and on.

Tutorial is very easy to understand, however I have run into a problem.

My top corner are not oriented correctly and as such I can't continue the solve. Is there a way to get the top corners oriented? I have watched the tutorial several times but see no way to get it fixed.
