1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: MotionEvent.

1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: MotionEvent.

1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: MotionEvent.

    What did i did wrong?

  • @Flowwwable Hi Flowwwable, If you look at the error it tells you that you are using a :MotionEvent!

If you go back through your code and change the Event/s to MouseEvent! it should work.

  • he gives an error by: e.currentTarget.gotoAndPlay("btnOver");

    i realy dont know why.

    can you please help me

    thanks

  • @djniels4live could you send me the full error report or your code and ill take a look.

Only just got back in town, sorry for the wait!

You might have to send it to my in-box cos you can't write code in these boxes.

  • how do you make a movie clip button in 2.0?

  • @santagotback101 You cant place code in these txt boxes, so i sudgest you look for an "As2 advanced button tutorial"

  • @asummersdesign Thanks! Stupid mistake. I posted this message before I was actually taking a good look at it. Greetzz

  • Yours helped me more than any other tutorial. Thank you. This stuff has been killing me!

  • @asummersdesign Yes, they begin one frame after each stop(); action and when I hit enter the movie does not play in flash and I think it has to be like so, because of the stop, right?

The timeline (keys and stuff) looks exactly as in your tutorial :(

  • @Postmortem88 Hmm.. Ok, did you place the labels one frame after the keyframes containing the begining animation?

If you press enter when in flash does the button animate then?
