Vagabond Mini by Paul C Buff

Paul C Buff has done it again! Today I am showing you the vagabond mini and how it works with w while-lightning Einstein attached to it.

UPDATE!! I got this information from White-Lightning and they asked me to correct it.

1- the chargers and cigarette lighter adapters for the V150/V300 are not the same as the ones for the V-Vini. They do use the same connectors, however, the orientation would put black to red if they are connected. Bad things can happen if this is performed! Each battery requires a different charge profile, this is why we made the chargers not cross compatible.

2- less important is the USB connection is there for convenience for charging USB chargeable devices (phones, MP3 players, etc; though not all devices will charge from it, depending on their power draw). There is not firmware to update.

Hello, I have a question. Just how many shots can you do before the battery is gone on one full charge? And by the way I was planning on getting the Vagabond II but they have it on backorder.

@haerilee I haven't pushed it to that limit yet, but it has lasted an entire wedding reception popping off a studio flash for 3 hours. The flash was on 1/4 power. I hope that helps.

Hey Joe, please make sure you tell your viewers that there is no guarantee that the Vagabond will work on digital controlled strobes. I have Hensel Integras and PCB will not confirm if the Vagabond will or will not work on them. Thanks. Dennis

Hey Joe. Thanks for the video..My Vagabond mini is on the way. I had a question about the Einstein I was hoping you could try to answer. I was originally going to pick up some AB's but I have been told not too. I mainly shoot skateboarding photos, so I've been told to look into the Einstein because its much faster when it comes to freezing action. Do you use the Einstein outside often? Any feedback on it would be great. Thanks again.
