That station looks a lot like the one at disneyland in Anaheim. So does the Zephyr, they turned one into a store in California adventures. Who made the Zephyr model you have?

how long did it take you to build it and in your next video could you show some of your yard because i am trying to get an idea on how to build my layout. thanks

I really like your layout videos your layout is very realistic. When you mention Chicago it brings back memories of a happier time for me.You see I'm from Chicago born and raised there.I hope you won't mind me asking but what kind of couplers do you use?I tried both horn hook and knuckle and my trains keep uncoupling themselves and I don't use one of the automatic uncoupler tracks. What can I do?Do you have any ideas?

always enjoyed ur layout videos. nice track plan! i wanted to comment on the Manomony fall station that is the american styling of west germany, cause i have the same station, though my station is lionel. found that kinds weird. i assembled my station similar to urs, there is fencing for the walk out roof i did not attach which i see u did not attach either. did u paint ur station, and do u have any more knowledge on the station itself?...
That California Zephyr is kind of a kit- bash. The cars are the old Tyco cars and the domes are of the Life Like passenger cars. I just fitted them on top of the Tyco cars.

I use both kinds. With knuckle couplers the height is important. If one is a little higher and there is a slight dip in the track they will uncouple. Also use the metal ones with real springs not the plastic ones with a plastic spring. Horn hook tend to uncouple on sharp curves when you stop a train. Make sure they don't stick. Just watch closely and you can see what is causing it.

Yes, I painted all of the station. I don't know if there is a an actual station somewhere that this was modeled after. I searched but couldn't find anything. Maybe it is from a German prototype.

The best thing to do is go to a hobby shop. You can also look on ebay and find some good deals.

The main layout is 8' by 13' in an L shape. The rest are shelves that go along the walls. Glad you like the vid, watch my newest one.
