You will love or hate this:)
Just sit through it is my advice and turn it up.
I do find this a very effective tool to get rid of visitors.
But I love it. Miles VERY loud and rough and yes, brutal !!

When is CBS going to remaster and re-release Agharta? I always felt that it was the pinnacle of Pete Cosey's career, and would be a fitting tribute now that he has left us.

I assume you mean "unwanted" visitors?...though maybe the inference is that any interruption to your personal Miles adsorption state would be undesirable...still as an anonymous cyber visitor , I will register a hearty "Love it!" w/ the caviat that my cat wandered in during it's loud airing and was not dissuaded.

I saw this band in Boston in 1973, though with Sonny Fortune and Dominique Gaumont instead of Liebman. It was a hella driving rhythm section, like a fully loaded cement mixer. I played bass and modeled myself on Henderson, though I don't know how successful I was. That Acoustic bass amp hit you right in the gut. I wish bass players still used them. But they're too heavy to carry around for $25 a night.
But I gotta say, this could be the best ever right here.

I believe it was Bill Hicks who one said, "YES! YES! YEEEESSS! PLAY FROM YOUR FUCKING HEART!!!" I'm pretty sure he was talking about this sort of thing.
