  • Reading all these petty negative reviews of a major talent is rather disheartening to say the least. Sounds like a bunch of jealous whiny children ranting because they lack any real talent or life. How very sad indeed.

  • I rooted for Neal the whole way on AGT, and I was so glad he won that show... but man, I REALLY wish he would concentrate on holding those notes longer... that's what the people really like to hear, in addition to the beautiful voice... he just needs to keep practicing, and concentrate on holding those notes longer, and he'll just keep getting more popular.

  • @therodneyguy I so agree with you. Would love to hear that beautiful voice do longer notes sometimes. He's got what it takes to do so. Don't know how he is doin' now...wish a lot better.

Everybody knows americans are the happiest nation. You always see the glass half full, the positive side of everything. You have a pile of shit in your backyard, and you talk about how it keeps the flies busy, away from your bedroom.

    Your movies are 100% happy-end.

    You're way too tolerant.

You act like a rich guy who sees butterflies and love all around, a world made out of pink candy.

    Neal Boyd was AVERAGE. Period.

  • @parfumeria33ro No he didn't slaughter the Anthem, that was his rendition or interpretation, if you bind or limit yourself to the technical aspects of singing, that my friend pollutes the soul.

I understand where you are coming from but if Artists didn't bend or break the rules then Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali would have never been recognized.

and your comment about listeners is proof that you are a snob and that comment was poorly thought out, if u love music u need to respect listeners!

  • I think he is SOOOOOOO AMAZING!!! I just don't think this song, sung pretty well, quite compliments his voice so much. :)

  • This is one of the hardest songs to sing. I think he did pretty darn good.

  • That was simply beautiful:)))

  • Four types of music lovers, out there:

    1. Composers

    2. Composers and Singers

    3. Singers

    4. Listeners -- which should avoid getting technical when reviewing a musical act.

    :)

I can understand those no.4 music lovers who like Neil's performance, as it's nothing but a matter of taste. But for anyone who actually has a musical ear, Neil's performance is too flat. He's slaughtered the anthem. So he can go up with his voice and keep it there; but that's not everything singing is about. Keep it real!

  • not his best performance but this guy in my eyes.. simply amazing. fuck all these guys below me

  • This was so awful, and last night at the SUNS game, it was so much worse! I'm not sure if this guy could change keys any more, but he changed keys so many times last night, that I mistakened him for someone that had down syndrome, and they were doing something special for someone to sing the Anthem, as if it was there wish or something. I thought that, because I was listening to the game on the radio, and I had never heard of this guy before. It was just terrible.

  • @joddar Sorry bro. You are dead wrong on this. He was off key, and it was pretty bad especially when he sang softly. I'm sure he has to be somewhat good to win a competition, but he did even worse last night at the SUNS game. I was listening to it on the radio and was completely shocked that they would let someone be off key and change keys as much as much as he did. So, respectfully, I completely disagree.
