Idiots Leave Dogs Unattended in Heat Wave

Here are three reports about people failing to properly care for their dogs during a heat wave in Portland, Oregon in July 2009. The temperature reached 106 degrees, which is very rare in Portland.

The first two reports involve a guy who left his dog in a car for more than two hours, and was planning on leaving the dog there for a few more hours. The third report is about a family who let their dog die in their backyard from heat exhaustion. Both of these sad events happened during the same heat wave.

When it's hot outside, never leave your pet in a vehicle or without water.

How can someone say the last story of a dog dying in its house from poison or heat for that matter if they already put it '6feet' under? Just because you think something was the cause without looking at the evidence doesn't mean you are all-knowing... Anyway the first story with the red-neck was pretty funny. He probably will remember not to park his car and his dog together near those neighbors again! lol
