I own this guitar but this isn't the best sound you can achieve. First of all in an acoustic amp it sounds nice, but you better use a nice clean electric one. The neck pickup is creamy and the reason you buy this guitar in my opinion. using both PU is nice for chords or achieving a much brighter sound to use with effects. The original setting with d'addario's jazz light strings is nice but too acoustic, with full round jazz strings this guitar stands alone
@metalhaze1982 Acoustic strings are traditionally thicker and create a much louder sound. Either way, its still metal sending a signal through the magnets. I used to have an Ibanez AF75 hollowbody I strung with acoustic strings for the reasons I stated above.
Jazz Guitar? Sure , but Lou is playing exactly what I want to hear from a P90-equipped guitar, especially such a light one. Let's face it - if you had a piano in the corner of the room and Beethoven played it, it would be classical, Ray Charles-blues, Elton John -well you get the idea. It would have been nice to hear the difference in the pickups though. Great playing!
I am a fan of Godin, but this guitar is not doing it for me!

Nice vid, but The electric example was missing the pickup selectors? Did you even think of playing with each Pup? and why not???

thanks so what you're saying It is feasible? the reason is that I find acoustic phosphore bronze strings to be easier to play finger style.

gr8 video. I had a question though, can you string a kingpin with acoustic strings and still get signal from the pickups?
