David K shows us how people might cheat on Dungeons and Dragons D20 dice rolling. Which is uncool if caught for it make the environment of the table bad during any RPGing game.

  • Pfft, always succeeding through cheating is a terrible way to game. Id rather constantly roll low numbers than cheat to get high numbers. Hell, failure makes the game more fun.

  • @DeathmaskDuplicant True, because risk is what makes games fun.

  • Why are there so many dislikes? Is it because those people don't want the cheating techniques exposed?

  • @alphanum001 I'm surprised too, I would think people would like this, but I think some of them think we're trying to encourage cheating, which we are not.

  • i'm a dm so thank you for this video..... i have something to look out for

  • @MrToystory2000 D&D is a fun game, but once in awhile you will get a cheater at the table, so we must all be careful about because a fair game is a fun game.

  • lol, its all about chance! It's more fun even if you end up rolling consecutively low numbers. My friends and me always end up saying something along these lines:

    "I got... a 2 and... a 1... >>"

"So, Aeromis herps on her main hand strike, blinks, and then derps on her second strike."

"The sun was in my eyes!"

  • Um...right

  • as an ex-DM, when you roll, i gotta be looking directly at you and it's gotta drop from at least 1/2 a foot height. otherwise it doesn't count.

  • @wastelandtv2 It's 348 DMs.

  • I've never understood cheating in any RPG. As other posters have said it takes the fun out of the game. Worse then pushing dice is I had players (as a GM and as a player) who try to sneak peaks as the DM/GM's notes while he's not looking and I even had two fellow players worth together (one of them distracted the DM while the other one peaked at his notes). That's why always keep my notes in a folder and in my arms and if I leave the room for some reason they come with me.

  • Why? I mean... if i'm playing a Rpg, why should i cheat? ...

  • @deadlyyellowrose I'm reminded of that Monty Python skit "Lets face it: haven't we all, at some time in our lives, set fire to some great public building?" The answer is no, but dice cheats have trouble believing that other people aren't doing the same.

  • Let's face it, every good player has cheated time to time---guilty!
