Almost a continuation of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" (hence the title). George wrote this whilst on holiday in Hawaii.
George - Lead vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, Arp bass
Jim Keltner - Drums
Jesse Ed Davis - Guitar
Gary Wright - Arp strings
David Foster - Piano and string arrangement

  • Hard to believe that he didn't know how popular that song was or would be. He didn't really write "another one". It just doesn't get it. George sort of wrote a bunch of songs and had only one or two here and there that were really quite good. Loved his work though.

  • @Philinspaces Extra Texture is one of my favorites albums.

  • This Guitar (Can't Keep from Crying) is one of the greatest songs that George Harrison has ever written even though the song is very underrated and it failed to reach the charts.

  • @piggies1 I aggree, i still have it as an vinyl album. Great album, with "you" and "world of stone" too

  • @piggies1 I used to love it too but I was around when it came out and as time went on he topped so much of that album with later music that it seemed more in the ilk of Crackerbox Palace and the like to me and not "My Dark Sweet Lady".
