Two Rebels Chapter 13

-Selena's POV-
I was exstatic. I've never really loved anyone. Nick is the first person I've loved. It was a nice feeling... to love someone and know that they love you back.. Wow.. I really think he's the one. I've never felt this strongly about anyone.. or anything.
I got ready for bed quickly then went back to mine and Nick's room. He'd changed into pajamas, but he still looked a little dazed.
"You okay?" I asked him.
"Yeah I'm fine... I'm gonna go brush my teeth...," He said, then walked out of the room. I got under the covers on the bed and started going through the pictures on my phone. They were mostly Nick. I stopped scrolling when I found my favorite one. Nick took the picture. We were kissing and we were both smiling through it. I went to the options tab and clicked 'save as wallpaper.' I flipped my phone shut and set it on the night stand. Nick came back in and laid beside me. I turned to face him and propped myself up on my elbow.
"Night, Nicholas."
"Night, Selena." He kissed me softly, then turned off the lamp. "I love you."
"I love you too. Sleep well."
"You too, Sel."
I lay back down, and soon after, I felt his strong arms around me. I smiled and lay my head on his chest. His fingers were lightly caressing my face and hair. It made me sleeply. I was out in about a minute.
-Next morning-
I woke up feeling disoriented and groggy.
"Ugh... Nick, what time is it?"
"One thirty in the afternoon."
"WHAT?!" I looked at my phone and the numbers read 10:31 AM.
"God, Nick, it's 10:30!"
"Oops, my bad," he said with a grin.
I hit him with a pillow and stumbled out of bed.
"Nice hair," NIck said, laughing lightly as he followed me out of the room.
"Shut up, Nick," I grumbled.
"What? I didn't say anything!"
"Sure..."
"But your hair is amazing"
I turned around and faced him, giving him the death glare. "Nicholas, I'm not in a good mood right now. I just woke up and my sleep schedule has been screwed up. So... Back off."
I turned back around and went into the kitchen. Nick was on my heels.
"Selena."
"Go away."
"Sel, I'm sorry."
"Sure."
"Selena, please stop. I was just kidding."
"I know you were."
"Then what's the problem?"
"I'm just in a bad mood."
"So you're not actually mad at ME?"
"No."
"Okay cool."
"yup."
"I love you, Selena."
"I love you, Nick."
"You're amazing," he said then kissed me.
"Thanks," I said. "You brighten my day. haha"
"I'm glad."
"So..," I said, trailing off.
"You wanna go to the theme park today?"
"Sure."
"Kay... We can go after we get ready."
"okay"
