Why would aliens travel lightyears across the Universe to warn us of some kind of disaster, then choose to inform us by flattening grass into patterns which only this guy can decode?
It just doesn't hold up to logic.

I also have a theory about your 'crop circles'.
Applications -> Take Screenshot (of the simulation)
Then open the picture with GIMP, Photoshop, or any other Integrated Graphics Processor.
Filters -> Noise -> RGB/Hurl
Filters -> Distorts -> Emboss
Colors -> Color Balance -> green+/blue+
Filters -> Noise -> RGB
and the 'crop circle' is ready and is 'almost' matching the simulator which has been moved a little bit for the comparison.
Then the crop circle is presented to the population as 'evidence'

Maybe by 'we' you mean the Solar System, not the Earth.
The SS moves with EVERYTHING in the Galaxy. The Galaxy is not stationary and the SS travelling through it as you describe it, for in that case we (the SS) will crash all the time with everything that is at a radius of 27 000 ly from Sagittarius A*, which is not observed.
What does 'area of higher energetic charge' mean? Have you measured something so far?
