Despite losing out to singer Jai McDowell in the final of Britain's Got Talent, the 12-year-old is the first of the two to bag a record deal.

Cowell has signed Ronan to his Syco label, although like the deals offered to X Factor stars Olly Murs and Matt Cardle, the contract is a joint one with one of parent company Sony's other departments.
While Cowell's US X Factor commitments are taking up a lot of his time, he still wants Ronan to do for his label what Bieber has done for Island.
'The deal allows Ronan to have Syco's involvement while signing with the Sony team that most suits his musical direction. Simon will remain completely involved,' read a statement from Syco, reported by The Sun.
Like EMI's Conor Maynard, that musical direction is more than likely going to be to try and replicate the kind of screaming teenage adulation that Bieber has generated.
A blogger who produced a 2,500-word essay that 'proved' Britain's Got Talent had been fixed to ensure Ronan would win has now issued a public apology for making the bogus claims last month, after he was tracked down by police.
