@HitchcockJohn No, it's a chap named Dickie, but he's played by Nicholas Courtney, who played the Brig.

@brownsrd16 As I recall, that last item finished up with, "Which as yet has no title, perhaps viewers can think of one."

This is going to sound unlikely... but at 01.56 when the German guard is looking for Corbett, the prisoner who looks directly into the camera for about 1 second looks remarkably like Hans Meyer, who was the South African German actor who played the German security officer in the real Colditz TV serial. Actually, I'm convinced it is. What do others think?

I'm almost certain that's Dover Castle

@rulebritannia1 looks like dover castle

" Next week we'll be reviewing three films. The first is about a welsh mining town. That's called 'Coal tips'. The second is set in a prison of war. That's called 'Colditz'. The last stars Rachel Welch as an eskimo. We're not sure whats that's called!"
The Two Ronnies at their very best.

Pity they didn't turn Colditz into one of their serials; I think this idea has the potential for one.

@Shovewood In the TV series it was David who got in the tea chest. He does look much smaller than the others - but maybe not as much as Ronnie C.
-
I think one of the prisoners is the Brigidier from Doctor Who.
According to IMDB, Ronnie Corbett is only 5'1"! That's shorter than DMC I'm sure.

Well a website called CelebHeightscom (bless the internet) informs me that during NCIS filming Mr McCallum was 5 ft 7.5inches but that in 1965 (the time of his peak height) he was 5 ft 8.

I could reach that in heels, though escaping in heels might be a tad difficult :)
