I've got to say the new ones have the old ones beat in power. But in looks the old ones have it more. I have a 69 SS 350 and it's not fast, it has around 300 horse, but as far as saying it's a quick car, I really couldn't say it. I'd say a new base 6 cyl Camaro could smoke mine. But I enjoy driving mine, and hearing it rumble.

You needed the 68 to be a coupe rather than a convertible; less weight and probably could have kept up with the new one a little better.

@gunmun18 You have to remember the old ones dont have traction control either. It probably would have been different if the old one hooked up better out of the hole. My 96 z28 does good too because it hooks up damn near anywhere but my 96 is not as nice as these lol. I would like to have seen an 98-02 ls1 run with them. I think they are a little bit faster than the new ones with the right driver to control wheel spin.
