I'm a novice but this video explains how to grade a coin. Grading a coin is important because it allows others both local and afar to know approximately how much a coin is worth. Graded coins makes things easier for both coin buyers and coin sellers. Enjoy!

  • How much would a nickel from 1803 be worth

  • @Blaze1000DD It's hard to say. There are so many different factors that affects value. I'd suggest purchasing the United States Coins 2012 book (AKA "red book for coins") from Amazon. He contains a lot of details for most all coins and information regarding how to guestimate value, without having to pay to have the coin professionally graded. Thanks for watching and feel free to check out my other coin and bullion vids too! I have a playlist link in the video description.

  • @IrixGuy Sorry for all of the typos...silly auto-correct on this computer LOL.

  • I get everything from ProvidentMetals or APMEX

  • no offense or anything but im not gonna wear gloves because if its an old coin like 1930's or below, if its still around, then i think because its american made it can handle a little hand oil. thats my opinion. great video though :)

  • @strikerwyatt Good point =)
