Tuning down at the low end of the 25 metre international broadcast band, and onto Control tower/Air frequencies while a distant, and as yet unfound, power line network adapter, which I recognise from previous problems as a Comtrend (BT type) does its thing.
The whole HF frequency range is destroyed in the same way (see other videos from me and others) but I'm concentrating on the aeronautical frequencies here, since these are just one of many safety of life service frequencies affected by the illegal radiation from PLAs, which spreads from roughly 3 to 30 mhz, with the newer versions of these 'adpaters' spreading their very wideband transmissions right up into VHF.
The antenna used is a small loop at the end of our garden, oriented to minimise this interference. Reception on any of the main antennas is impossible due to this noise.
Ofcom management had these powerline networking devices independently tested and the results showed abysmal failure of all legal emissions limits. They were nonetheless allowed onto the market. Ofcom were requested to release the test results under FOI and refused. 18 months later they were forced to release after a successful appeal. No wonder they wanted to hide them.
Power line adapters have been found, in independent tests, to exceed the legally allowed radiation levels by over 1000 times.
