Ismail Marzuki (born in Kwitang, Monday, Batavia, May 11, 1914 - died in Kampung Bali, Tanah Abang, Jakarta, May 25, 1958 at age 44 years) was one of the great composers of Indonesia. His name is now immortalized as an arts center in Jakarta is Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) in the region Salemba, Central Jakarta.
