I have been VOLUNTEERING with the Cure Drive almost 20 years. Cured my own herpes - 2 kinds - HSV-1 and 2-- got it in '66 -- 28 years of outbreaks. I have helped people cure cancer, Graves' disease, lupus, CFS, fibromyalgia, FLU, many others - the main movie on CureDrive's Channel is me helping someone cure LEUKEMIA.

You learn IMMUNICS from FREE TUTORIALS at CureDrive(dot)ORG. Call me - I will help you - I'm Bayard Henry Barnes on Facebook.

  • You said you think you are hypo now??? YOU ARE. That's what the treatment does to you. KILLS your thyroid glands ability to function. Didn't you know that??? You must get blood samples a few times a year to make sure your levels are good and if not your meds need to be adjusted. I miss the energy I had earlier in my life before full blown graves kicked in. Now even with my meds I also feel drained sometimes. Diet and exercise is more important now that you are hypo. Good Luck Friend

  • I'm having the RAI treatment on April 1. I'm having panic attacks now. I've been on methimazole for 3 months and it worked at first but now it's not working. Is this a year after RAI treatment? Did you not have enough synthroid or was your your thyroid not completely dead? I know that yucky horrible life draining feeling with anxiety on top. I can't stand being nervous or panicky and not being able to breath. That's why I agreed to do the RAI. I was hoping to never feel this way again.

  • i know how you feel. i have grave's as well and it sapped the life out of me. I'm like the oldest 22 year old out there. And I just began my higher education in a brand new country. doing all those things while feeling like a 90 year old took alot of dragging. so be strong alright. hugs.

  • Hang on! Hugs ....Vicky

  • So sorry to hear this. Did they give you enough RAI to kill your entire thyroid or only part of it? Have you tried other things to help deal? Like yoga or changing your eating habits. I've read that sometimes changes in our lifestyle can help.
