Come Closer, Mr Spider!

Y'all don't know this but I used to have paralyzing arachnophobia. I'm talkin' hyperventilation, anaphylactic shock, can't watch Charlotte's Web, full-on diagnosed phobia. I spent four months in weekly exposure therapy and now consider myself free of that chain. My diagnosis has been officially downgraded to, "Arachno-a-little-bit-nervous."

I routinely find spiders in my place, and most of the time I leave them alone, unless they look hobo-like. This morning, I found one above the tub and decided it would be better to kill it than wonder if it jumped on me during my shower. I did, then went on with my business. Five minutes into my shower, I noticed a much less menacing spider on the ceiling. I'm not scared of spiders anymore, but that doesn't mean I welcome one jumping on me while I'm showering, so I watched it to make sure it wasn't plotting something. While I was standing guard, this song popped into my head and it seemed fitting to record it!
