This is the reason why 3.0 944 turbo is better than 2.5 liters.
363 RWHP 14 Lbs of boost.
You would need 20 to 22 lbs of boost with a 2.5 liters to acheive the same numbers and it will not be reliable.

  • If this is the car I think it is you should see it now. The new owner has done alot of work to it in the last year.

  • nice car must be great on the track

  • @toddk911 yeah! sugar balls!

  • no way you took a s2 engine and turbod it?! awsome bro it sounds unreal... ive got an s2, i knew that couldnt be the 2.5, it has to much of a bellow. beautiful!

  • how much could I pay you to rebuild my 944 turbo engine to be one like yours? And please do tell what kind of wheels those are! Your car is simply beautiful

  • great car, but wow, tough crowd. no one is arguing that porsche don't know what they are doing (except when it comes to buying out VW) or where on the ladder the 944 was supposed to sit but it's well documented that porsche hierarchy is very rigid, especially when it comes to power. the 924 and 944 turbos could have been better than what they were easily with the tech at the time. the 924 CGT and 944 cup cars are an example of that.

  • @UserNamei5

The marketing point is how slow your mom's car is that you drive ball sweat.

  • what wheel, size and offset are those?

  • @Piperporsche180944 i found this video from a local ad in craigslist! LOL

  • Amazing what .5L can do. :)

And yes, it takes me about 20psi for 350whp.

but if Porsche built it like this it would have out shown all other Porsche models of the day; i.e. 911 turbo
