@riverbadboy I doubt it. First, that's N9505C, an ex-SLAFCO Cat that used to be up Moses Lake in WA. But it sold for a short time to Comanche, who then sold it to Flying Fox Air Service who (eventually) intends to fly it as a charter service from Ft. Lauderdale to the Bahamas. But they're not up and running yet. As far as I know, Hemet is running S-2 variants, no PBYs.

it is true that is lake mead if u look in the backround u can see the water stains on the rock walls and since i live in henderson nevada and i have a boat i know lake mead like the back of my hand and i can tell those rocks are the exact ones at lake mead. also another thing is lake mead is drying up so it helps as evidence to prove it is lake mead. keefer lake mead is right on the border of arizona so you a very close to being right at the very end of the lake hoover damn spilts neveda and AZ.

that scene was filmed at lake mead. the plane is a private california firefighting pby from san jacinto ca. i work for the aviation depot at fire base hemet ca. thats our plane :)

A guy I work with was the stunt pilot in the movie. It was filmed in Montana.
