Fave VGM #082: "Perfect Menu" ~ Grant Kirkhope

Personally I think that of Rare's two major Nintendo 64 FPS games GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark that the latter is the better of the two. While GoldenEye 007 had to adhere to the limitations of the James Bond licence, Perfect Dark was free to push the envelope in terms of game mechanics. It has great AI, realistic graphics and an involving storyline. Also, Perfect Dark had an extraordinary soundtrack. Even when the player is in the menu screen, the music is great!

The N64 is full of awesome games. Perfect Dark was very close to making it on my Top 10 N64 Games. It's considered number 11. To see my TOP 10, click the following URL:
