  • What Computer Software Are You Using? Fritz? Rybka?

  • @TheRandomKidsVideos This is Deep Rybka on the Aquarium platform. Thanks for watching.

  • I was too confused to even start looking for moves at the last example - I thought you were showing the wrong board. I can't see any check at 06:50, even though you said "check". And it looks like the rook on h1 is completely undefended - why not simply take it?

  • @Bobstew68 - Not sure why I said check. Sorry about that! It's just a regular capture.Taking the rook on h1 is the normal or automatic move. There must have been a rook on h8 one move earlier that had just captured the rook on h1. I am sure the black player fully expected Tal to recapture on h1. Taking on h1 would not be a winning move whereas gxf6 is winning as a result of the tactics. I didn't explain it very well, but if you examine the variations I presented it should become clear. Thanks

  • Maybe for next video you can share with us tactics with goal eg; 1.Tactics for checkmate, 2.Tactics for material gain, or 3.Tactics for positional advantages. Thanks you Mr. Isayoldchap.

  • Thanks for the comment. I have lots of ideas for videos and I always appreciate feedback like this. I would really like it if some viewers would send me their games to analyze. The games don't have to be of a high standard or anything.

  • Great Study...!! Useful info.. thanks for sharing..!!

  • @KARTIKEYA007 White is a piece down

  • I agrre it is ashame that the GM didn't see that. Its would be so beautiful if he saw that moves and play it. So sad

  • hey in the second puzzle why did the GM resign???he could have played Rb1 to eliminate the threat of checkmate due to black's Re1??

  • great video. on 9:40 instead of be6 why not e6? the king has an escape sqaure and will still have his rook
