Spotting at Philadelphia International Airport
Philadelphia International Airport
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Friday April 17, 2009

IN THIS VIDEO, you will see a large selection of aircraft arriving into Runway 27R at PHL. The video was shot between 12:00 PM and 3:45 PM. You will notice that I am not on airport property or even remotely close to PHL, as my friend Andrew told me about a spot along the river near Red Bank, New Jersey (Gloucester County). The spot is pretty tranquil - the only time you'll get anything noisy is if an entire family comes over or if there are boats on the Delaware River.

Like what you've seen? Well, if you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

  • Do I Hear Water?? In The Video?? By The Way Do You Live Near philly?

  • It takes me twenty minutes to get to the spot I shot this video from, provided there is no traffic. And yes, you hear water... I am in a park and on a beach by the Delaware River.

  • I may or may not visit this spot again. Don't know yet...
