College student, Brian, has a surprise for his family, but not exactly the one they were expecting.

On his way to achieving his long-held ambition to appear on the British TV Quiz Show, University Challenge, he falls in love with his beautiful teammate and forms a plan to win her heart through his advanced general knowledge skills. Starter For 10 is a bittersweet comedy about loyalty, class, falling in love and the difference between knowledge and wisdom.

They come in Christmas crackers, you must have heard of crackers?They're cardboard tubes decorated with pretty paper with little toys, jokes and a paper hat inside, the idea is two people tug on each end in order to break it in half. the person who lands the bigger half gets to keep the stuff inside, the crackers are pulled during xmas dinner so everyone wears their hat traditionally

Actually, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (the handbook for psychiatrists) did list homosexuality as a disorder. But that was changed over three decades ago... so your comment is simply wrong.

Being gay is a disorder (modern media and authorities do not wish to show otherwise)..not too different from other abnormal attractions such as pedophilia, etc. It is unhealthy and immoral...we can be against homosexuality but never denigrade those who are gay. If one really loves them one would show genuine concern and help them, not promote a lie that traps them.
