AT&T recently conceded their unsatisfactory service by all of a sudden giving away 1000 free minutes. Why only time this now, if they thought their service was so fair? Because they didn't risk leaking market share to Verizon before. Your problem isn't so much accusation as tone. A more forgiving tone would be, "They change their minds". A less forgiving one would be, "Like most companies, they make whatever unprincipled moves it takes to maximise the bottom line."
I agree the reason is up for debate. What isn't debatable is the fact that AT&T promptly removed this Unlimited option soon after - no indication was given that the Unlimited plan was temporary. So you can go, "Oh hey ho, that's business. Everyone goes into these things with the best intentions for us all." Or you can reach the very reasonable conclusion many consumers have, that the deal was just to lure people in with no intention of keeping it.
@PurushaDesa A reference is needed to make this type of accusations. AT&T has a moral duty to their customer and I doubt they would backstab, as you say so.
Well yeah, but didn't AT&T just remove the unlimited option? So they let Apple make the big public announcement, only to stab their customers in the back afterwards, when they knew their network couldn't handle the sheer number of iPads eating their bandwidth. Or is that why you posted this?
