KATHRYN WILSON TO PRESENT CATWALK DEBUT AT
NEW ZEALAND FASHION WEEK 2010




New Zealand Fashion Week 2010 will be the setting for a New Zealand Fashion First: Kathryn Wilson's debut catwalk show.

Never before executed in New Zealand, this showcase of nationally-inspired, designed and branded men's and women's footwear will put Kathryn Wilson centre stage at New Zealand's premier fashion event.

Kathryn's brand has been on the rise for seven years, rapidly growing from a small, fledging label into a significant player in the new tidal wave of New Zealand's fast-paced and youthful fashion scene.

Kathryn's presentation at New Zealand Fashion Week will include traditional catwalk production integrated with highly-technical support.  Using high quality and varied media, this presentation has been designed to inspire and delight - it will be a perfect way to not only grow the brand for the coming season, but to show appreciation to the many buyers, media, customers, sponsors and industry figures who have helped the Kathryn Wilson brand flourish.

To celebrate the first ever Kathryn Wilson catwalk show, Kathryn teamed up with local film director and producer Garth Badger to produce a series of vignettes that capture the energy of the months of show preparation.

Today we release the second in a series of three vignettes in the lead up to Kathryn Wilson's first ever catwalk show at New Zealand Fashion Week!

Music is an integral part of any fashion show, and Kathryn has teamed up with good friend and all 'round nice guy, Onny Kaulima, to mix the ultimate tracks for her show.

The Kathryn Wilson fall/winter 2011 catwalk show is scheduled for 5.30pm on Tuesday 21st September on-site at New Zealand Fashion Week. The event is sure to be a highlight of the week, which celebrates another milestone of its own this year: reaching it's 10th year.
