@ScSweetpea78 You right. The Bible says only God knows the end time. Yet, from God, Daniel 8:17 plainly says the time of the end shall be the vision- meaning the world will not end until the year 2020. See the new video called "World Ending 2012 or 2020?"
There are too many parallels for the 2020 prophecy to be wrong!

The rapture is an evangelical invention. It is not Biblical and was never a belief of the Church. It is a false Christian doctrine perpetrated by misguided Christians making up their own interpretation of Biblical passages. Of course, very hand picked passages.

Aside from those who panic about the world ending in 2012, there are also new agers who are predicting "a global shift in consciousness" for the year 2012. In 2010, there was a new age propaganda documentary on that subject called "2012: Time For Change" . I read somewhere that the director of that documentary is in favor of using LSD, so that should tell people something about it.
