Also, I watched the movie for the first time the day before I made this video, so I really hope you long-time lovers of Steel Magnolias will think I've done it justice!
It's an amazing movie, so inspiring, I only bought it because I'm a huge Dolly fan but it would be great without her as well.

This is the first time I've ever done a movie tribute... the only tribute videos I've ever done before are Saula, Paula Abdul, Dolly Parton [x2], so go easy on me lol!

I also watched this film initally for the appeal of Dolly Parton! It's a brilliant tale of love, strength and the ultimate power of friendship through thick and thin.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE! My sister's husband and his family were in the movie. In fact, the house that Sally Field and her family live in is the same one his grandparents live in! Great job!

And WOW did your sister's husband's grandparents know the original 'Shelby' then? I know that the town they filmed in was the one where she actually lived. And it's a pretty small town.
