Watch the episode "Wander My Friends" is in, its right at the END of the episode. When Apollo lights up the cigar and looks at Adama in the celebration on the flight deck the drums stop and all you hear is the voices for a few bars before the drums and other instruments come back in.

There is another version of this song in the show's sound tracks. It's called Farewell Apollo. It's the version that doesn't have anyone singing in it. The editor may have spliced the two together for the show.

Nope, because the track "Farewell Apollo" was written for Season 4 :-)

Its simple really Bear just decided to slightly remix it for the soundtrack CD for some reason.

what is the exact name of this song? i've been trying to find it on itunes. what season, and name?

@TheSkepticalIdealist Frak! At the office but will have to recheck that scene tonight. Still, at 2.32 the drums are all but gone. I dont know if it was further muted in the scene but I do (for now) think its the same recording. Gaeta, were running through the tapes again!

@asianmalaysian hehe, seriously I listened to 2.32 and that is not the part of the music that Im talking about. In the episodes version of the track the drums literally stop completely then come back in for the final few bars.
