imo, from editing this vid it has opened my eyes to chuck's tormented character and just how messed up people made him (kudos to you bart & jack). the second verse of this song hopefully portrays a sense of that. do i condone his actions? no. do i hate his character? never.

i can't say i wasn't shocked at how far the writers pushed this character, although now i see.. it doesn't seem totally out of character. as the writers once said, blair was his pillar, especially when it came to bart and the poor-ass legacy he left as a father. so all this stuff that's arisen once again because of bart, he turned to blair and this time she was done.. that's gotta send a man something, i just hate it was such rage.

i'm trying to stay hopeful about this couple (i think i've been re-watching beauty & the beast on the trot right now). as for now, i'm all for blair being happy with whoever right now.. just note, in the end... i'll always want these two.

sidenote.. ed westwick is phenomenal. i can't imagine it was easy doing such a scene but ed works drama on this show like no other, even with such crappy writing...

I could NEVER hate Chuck and I hate that people are already calling this an abusive relationship. There are so many layers to Chuck and the C/B pairing and this is to me just shows how lonely and tortured Chuck is and how much he truly needs Blair - and we all know that deep down she needs him too. I believe in them, and I believe in second chances - this goes for my poor sweet Chuck.

Anyhow, I LOVED this -- you are definitely my favorite vidder for this couple.

Bless you darling, whoever you are. This vid was like a salve to an open wound. I don’t hurt from Chuck’s violent behavior but rather from the fans’ response to it. I sure as hell didn’t board this epic Ship because of Chuck’s tameness. There was something fierce in Chuck’s eyes the first time I saw him. There was danger and darkness but then I quickly discovered his other look. The little lost boy look. My heart was lost forever.

Love the flawless editing and your intro. Bravo!

Great editing, you did a really good job of representing Chair's relationship with this song. I only just watched the episode where Chuck got violent but he never hit Blair and I didn't even for a second (even if he was super drunk) believe he would so I didn't see the big deal though I know it was horrible how angry he got in that moment and can see why others would be upset. I really think he redeemed himself in the s4 finale though and I still hope Chuck gets his happy ending with Blair :)

absolutely wonderful!!! GREAT VIDEO!! I watch and listen over and over...Chuck&Blair is my favorite couple..I really love them and want them to be together ASAP...I want a rebuild in Season 5..enough descontruction already!!! So much enjoyable to watch these segmented characters therefore they are totally unique...so much interesting and beautiful! they are amazing!
