  • Well, I refer to them as subdivisions, but most people refer to them as routes or lines. On the small scales, there isn't really any rules regarding horn signals, so we generally use whatever signal we want, but I prefer to use the proper crossing signal that full size railroads use, but now days I don't really use the horn that often. Inevitably, somebody would complain if I blew a Nathan AirChime K-5LA LOL!
