  • I used to make bread in a cast iron dish and it was lovely but I must have had the heat too high once and all the enamel inside splintered. It was really lovely bread though.

  • That'a a lovely loaf! I bake in a Rommertopf (clay pot) which gives wonderful results and on the plus side you do not need to preheat the oven, just pop the pot with the dough into a cold oven and start baking.:-)

  • MY dutch ovens are huge

  • That is a beautiful loaf!

  • Be careful where you place your blade after used, while kids are around.
