oh, that noise! There are very few cars that can even come close to making a exhaust note that good. Thumbs up if you love the AMG exhaust note.

I could care less about LeMans. I care about what i am buying, and anyone with any knowledge about cars would opt for Euro over American. They are just soooo much better quality. So much sexier, in..so many ways. Only an American would buy American over Euro, and it is completely understandable as it has been fed to them since a child that American is best.. It is stupid to argue which is better when European cars are on a completely different level.

Yes you're absolutely correct.
But interestingly, even in current Mercedes marketing materials, they call it a 6.3 liter engine too.
Nevertheless, it is just a barrel of fun to drive.

The commentator here obviously loves this car and thus... "exaggerates" shall we say.
"Weighs about the same as a Corvette" Well... No.
C63 AMG Curb weight = 3924 lbs
C6 Z06 Curb weight = 3150 lbs
C6 Z51 Curb weight = 3200 lbs
"Accelerates about as fast as a Corvette". No, again... but it's still pretty fantastic and especially considering 4 doors and a decent amount of room in the back!

@chill77777 - you're absolutely right...not an apples-to-apples comparison and Yes, I really did like it. It doesn't handle particularly well in race mode but who cares...it a hoot to drive.
