I've been following these. Had a hard time making a comment. I was there opening night and many nights there after.. Everytime I start to write the tears become to much.. ........ Rain.....
It was and will always be the best memories of my life.. All the loves and friends that were there with me.. Could it be magic?
Thank you all... Thank you for keeping this for history.. Touch Me in the Morning..

While I was in college going to The Saint was always my reward for finishing my homework/projects by Friday- only The Saint could have gotten me through it.

First gay dance club I ever went to, a never to be repeated living experience.

Chills just went the back of my head while the both of you described the opening. If only I was there at that time. Wow...
As a surviving member of the Saint, I often think back of the great and magical times I had on the dance floor under dome with friends and dance buddies who are no longer here. It was truly an amazing time in my life I will always cherish and miss.

The privilege of having experienced "The Saint" is the "crown jewel" of all my collective memories of my gay life in my early 30's in New York in the 1980's. And, now in my 50's, when I see friends from those days, we always know- consciously or subconsiously- that we were VERY blessed to have been able to have had The Saint as our playground. And, unless you were able to experience The Saint, you'll never fully understand that it wasn't just a club or a disco, but, a lifestyle unto itself.
