SAG came to the background community and begged us to join. we didn't go to SAG.

If you vote "NO" say goodbye to our Union! there will be No TV period! SAG will fold without it! AFTRA will be the Stronger Union. Look at membership First they are jumping ship trying to get on the board at AFTRA because they told everyone to vote "NO" and now they know what that means. This contract will literally throw the Elderly members of this guild out like TRASH. Some of these folks need their pre71 & 74 residuals TO EAT! Or how about the crippled Stunt people who took jobs that caused PERMANENT damage to their bodies because they were counting on residual checks from what they had done to themselves. Or the child actors, who won't even HAVE a PENSION because of this. VOTE NO for ETHICS, CONSCIENCE & YOUR FUTURE. The DAMAGE it does to the HELPLESS FAR outweighs Raises!
