What do you think the world will look like in 2019? Predicting future trends is usually done poorly by Analysts so company's seem to want to give consumer a glimpse of what they want the future to look like. Microsoft has just released a video showcasing magical gadget after magical gadget. Earlier this month "Microsoft Office Labs Vision 2019," was released and now we have "Productivity Future Vision (2011)". Both are inspiring and beautifully edited.

Haha they try to make work look so simple... walking into the office into the morning, pulling some bars and buttons on a screen - yeah sure. The truth is the faster the work can be done the more work has to be done. This in combination with the flood of information can't be really good for the human brain.

I thing the problem is not the tecnology itself, it can be done, it will require a huge effort from the industry to reduce cost and masify the tecnology, i thing in six year cant be done, but in 10 why not, we just need to se betwen the fist ipod touch 2007 and 2013 how much tecnology has changedIi belive the concept of microsoft, probably the output will be less nice. but make it true will require a huge effort to make it avaliable to everyone.

I really doubt that we will have this technology in six years... And I've seen how far we've come. You just cannot make a processor smaller than a sheet of paper.

Well if you notice over time technology gets cheaper, buying a PS1 now is so much cheaper than back when it was brand new to the world so eventually this will become common around the country...maybe even the world.
