nicole richie seems like such a sweet and lovely person. ive seen photos of her and to be honest, i thought she was gonna be the arrogant kind but actually, shes really cute. :)

@BirthofCharlie i get what you're saying, but, its not like she chose this life, she was adopted into a wealthy family. What else could she do?

@BirthofCharlie How can having money equal being "handed everything" in life? Are the upbringings you envy really primarily those of wealthy people? I actually pity people like Nicole because her appreciation for her affluence was probably less than yours or mine is for our affluence. She herself said she turned to drugs as a teenager because she was bored and felt she had seen everything life had to offer. I don't envy that.

@kakanutz1981 She wasn't trying. She was hypoglycemic. It's a medical condition. I have it too, and it causes someone to be underweight no matter what they try and do. Nicole sought out treatment for it though, unlike most people, because she didn't want young girls to see pictures of her underweight and think that they need to look like that. She's a great role model.

@BirthofCharlie But its not her fault she was born into a wealthy family, just the same way its not a persons fault if they were born into a poor family. You just cant choose what type of background you come from.

This girl has grown so much in the last 5 or 6 years -- it's great! I am so glad she has grown into such a lovely woman.
