  • This combo would go 11.15 to 11.10's all day long.. but the guy who owns the car is off doing his own thing now and the last I have seen of the car is he take it around the block in his area and claims that there are problems with the way the car is set up and he has'nt even taken it down the track with the new motor combo.. Soo SAD... :( Oh well some are race, and some are not.. Thanks DaBlueOvalBoys..

  • Nice setup! I was almost as fast with my BW-T10 and Mr Gasket shifter behind a solid lifter 351C in my Rustang way back when. So what makes those Jerico's so fast? Never heard of one. Been out of the loop for years now.

  • @Sktrtrsh These Jerico DR-4s are what most all the stock & super stock racers uses, they have a "Dog Ring" slider that allows the unit to be pulled into gear with very little to no clutch release (if you have a McLoed soft-loc clutch) and they can handle up to about 800 to 1000hp if you set up the clutch right. If you have any more question just ask and thanks for the post. DaBlueOvalBoys...

  • umm correct me if im wrong but doesnt " banging the gears " usually mean its a manual with an " H " pattern shifter and a clutch??? i may be young but im pretty sure thats the real meaning?

  • @05blkrado It is a manual trans... A Jerico DR-4 and it has a H pattern.. just not in the normal way and it also has a clutch.. a McLeod "Soft-Loc".. Thanks for the post... DaBlueOvalBoys..

  • I know this might sound like a weird question, but does the jerico have the normal H-shifting pattern? It looked like when you shifted from 2nd to 3rd, you just pushed the stick up instead of up and to the right.

  • @shawnkrause871 Your question is not weird, they make 2 types of shifters that I know of for the Jerico trans this model is a racing style as you don't have the left to right movement. If you draw the standard "H" pattern on a piece of paper and then stand it up on the edge you can see how it works. the 1st gear slot is in the highest location and the 2nd gear is behind that but just a little lower, so as you push & pull your way thru the gears you are dropping lower Hope that helps DaBueOvalBoys

  • Not too shabby as they say. Have you turned a full quarter mile with this setup yet?

  • @shawnkrause871 Its like a Z pattern when you turn it on its side.

  • FUCK YEAH!
